It's only recently that I started to get into photography seriously. I had a camera and would take photos on vacation every once in a while. Over the years I bought a couple of gadgets: lights, a tripod... things like that. But I'd take some photos, and put the camera away until the next time I went on vacation.
But for some reason in the summer of 2018, I decided to really learn how to use my camera and get nice photos.
This blog is as much for me to keep track of things I've learned as it is to share my photos with people. I'm a beginner, for sure, but I thought some people might want to follow along and see what happens.
I don't intend to "teach" anything. I'll post links to videos or articles that really help me, as well as try to give tips for things that helped me take better photos.
If anyone out there notices something I say is not accurate or completely wrong, please jump into the comments and let me know.
By the way, that photo above is the first photo I snapped after I decided I want to really learn how to take good pictures. I thought it was an awesome pic when I took it (I still like it), but even after just a few months, I notice a lot of things I wish I could change about it. What would you change?
